It's in the nature of a woman to want to be with a guy that can provide. The more educated and comfortable a woman is financially the more higher her expectation is with regards to a man's ability to provide for the lifestyle she is used to.

Also, those that are insulting this woman's appearence. I've seen many middle class women that look her married to men who are of the same calibre in terms of finances or higher. I think sometimes we forget that beauty is very much subjective.

Depends on the girl.

Personally, I prefer a guy who went through rigorous schooling. That’s how I was raised. All my siblings have at least a Master’s. My dad has a pHD.

If he’s lazy, or perpetually unemployed, or has no intention of doing anything with his life, forget it.

Would I date a security guard? Maybe now, if he shows promise. After I get my doctorate? ...no. He’s unmotivated. You can already tell it’s not a stepping stone at that point. He plateaued.
What are you studying if you don't mind me asking?

Na, you guys are making it so complicated. It simply because they think the type of masculine traits they value in men will be valued the same by men which isn't the case. A man will choose a hot nursery school teacher then a highly educated lawyer but the opposite for women. Hearing my sisters talk with their friends you realise how clueless they are about men.

Well offcourse. I never hear men put the womens degree or her salary in a list of their ideal woman. But you will hear even a rich woman talk about a mans pocket. Its nature. Men are providers and leaders. A woman expect to be taken care off

Might be biased by what I see, but women are more complicated (as a group) than men. A woman could just as easily choose a hot nursery teacher, or the highly educated lawyer, or the profitable criminal, or the struggling artist. Men are a more consistent read (the prettiest one who’ll have him).

She thinks just because she values a high education in a partner, men will have it on their list too. It’s an understandable myopia, because it’s easy to think our values are consistent with everyone elses’.

Take out education and her accomplishments, would you class her a below average? in most an men eye she is specially the men she wants but expect men to accept that.

How do you explain the fact that many educated middle class women who look like her are still able to marry men who are of a similar calibre to them education wise.

Is beauty not subjective? And yes I agree that men and women have different expectations.

Can I explain it? Nope. I've never deeply thought about this subject. She not good looking, past her youth and fertile years. Has a personality that bore you to death. Not really in demand but I don't know.

I've noticed that whilst men do not care about a woman's education background the way a woman does, most successful men are married to a woman with at least a degree.

Furthermore, what does being up tight and anti social have to do with being educated? Its a personality trait that has nothing to do with someones level of education, male or female.

The point I was trying to make is that these things are subjective. Whilst the average man will not get into a relationship with a woman based on her educational background, some men with different standards might think of her as being beautiful and having the feminine qualities that he is after.

If beauty isn't subjective then a lot of women that look a certain way would struggle to find partners. Believe me i've seen women deemed unattractive with partners that are relatively stable and educated.

She’s average. Look at her face, it’s average/ok, not ugly, though she’s rotund. There are much much uglier women that are married all over the place. The men who would marry her are threatened by her, or they’re below her own expectations. Highly educated pretty women have the same problem.

It is a personality trait. But your personality get moulded by your surroundings. A lot of educated women has a chip on their shoulder and constantly in competition with men. A lot of men found them exhausting cause men generally dont like drama.

I did some looking. I would not rate her below average. She’s average, she has a pHD in History, and at most, she needs to lose a little weight, which is more than plenty lower-educated women have going for them.

I used to think it wouldn’t be a problem bc I do have looks, not to be brash, but after some mentorships, internships, and work experience, I anticipate having a similar problem, bc I’ve seen it for myself - enough stunning women in higher academia face the same issue. Unless you’re lucky enough to find a guy secure and on your level, or you’re willing to lower your expectations, higher education can be a lonely place for some women. She’s right about that.

It really depends on what time the woman is thinking about the guy it's either when she's menstruating she'd take the hot nursery teacher or when she's not where she'll go for the lawyer

Educational background is considerable of course but the most important part is if she’s smart, hardworking, basically she knows her way around things and if she’s supportive.
That’s a keeper in most guys’ books.

You see a guy with a dumb girl it’s usually for chill, fun, something new..

I get a crazy kind of horny when I’m on my period. I haven’t noticed a pattern with the type of man, have you when you have your periods? If I had to put a finger on it, I’d say men period (no pun intended).

What are you talking about are you saying I have periods :mahubowtf:
Also it's natural for women on their period to get a little bit frisky. I have a theory that most women cheat while they're on their period as they look for more masculine traits in their partners:fittytousand:

That sounds like a load of bull. Sure, some women get horny during their periods, but not all of us. Not only that, there’s horniness during ovulation, during pregnancy, during menopause ‘cause hormones are on the fritz. There’s situational horniness that’s linked to someone specific, inexplicable horniness linked to random or weird events, like smoking a joint, for instance. Not to mention our libidos differ so thats a consideration as well. Plus, I doubt a typical girl will cheat on her period. Sure, having sex in a relationship during a period is an option, but some rando? And you can’t get pregnant during your period so what’s the point of going crazy over traits? It’s generalized horniness. I track myself and I’ve noticed certain things ever since I started paying attention to myself, but it’s personal to some extent.
