It actually is a general investigation just look at the list of names OP linked. For example, someone like Emmanuel Falade, owner of Falade Inc, is included, which shows it’s not exclusive to Somalis.
This isn’t like the FOF case where there was a narrative of conspiracy being framed around the community. In this case, the focus is clearly on businesses and service providers, not individuals. Only the names of the seperate unrelated CEOs or business owners appear on the warrants, which is standard for these types of cases.
Also, these are LLCs, Incs, or C-Corps legal entities designed specifically to separate personal liability from business liability. So any legal accountability would fall on the corporation or organization, not necessarily the individual behind it.
In short, this isn’t targeting Somalis as a group, and it’s unlikely to have the kind of impact some people are assuming.

Scott Reese was a Republican governor/senator and also the CEO of a Medicaid/Medicare company that defrauded the government out of billions and he got away with it. They just fined the business, and he even walked away with a settlement.
That’s exactly why what I said earlier matters: their companies might get hit, forced to sell, or pay fines but it often protects them from personal liability.
If the government cared that much about medicaid fraud then they would have arrested so many execs (many of them among Trump's wealthy friends) in the medical insurance industry. This is not the reason they're cutting medicaid.

Exactly. They’re just deflecting from a systemic issue.
What’s frustrating is that they often blame welfare and Medicaid recipients for fraud, when in reality it’s mostly providers and companies committing it. The push to slash these programs isn’t really about stopping fraud , it’s about privatizing them to turn a profit.
What’s worse is that communities like Somalis, who work hard and pay taxes like everyone else, get unfairly blamed. Meanwhile, they’re also victims their money is part of what’s being stolen by those same companies/providers that are meant to deliver for them in return. Immigrant communities often suffer the most in these cases.

My bad misread your post, yes it’s bigger than Somalia community there is rampant fraud and alot of folks going down seen many Indians and even cadaan dentists doing brutal unnecessary procedures to get more Medicaid dollars. Many will go down and keep going down that are taking advantage of our government safety nets for most vulnerable
