@Maxamed bin Harti we should copy Switzerland. Not only do they have only seven federal ministries, they give their federal states (called cantons) a very high degree of autonomy therefore making Switzerland possibly the most decentralised of all federal countries in the world

The Government doesn’t need a Minister of Inofrmation when the Spokesperson of FGS can literally do the same job.

We save more money getting rid of a 100 MPs instead of 5 ministers, this is just from a financial point of view. I agree with both, but priority should be where the budgetary weight lies no ?

the allocation of MPs should be based on regions, we have 18 regions, if each region gets 5 MPs thats 90 MPs cutting off nearly 200 MPs will reduce FGS waste expenditure drastically.

That was before Somalia became independent, we had way more ministers under the SYL.

You forget one critical point, clans became bigger and each sub-clan will not accept to be less than others.
