Favorite food that your mom makes?

My mom is a great cook, yes I know everyone loves their mom's home cooked meals but my mom's food is special.

I love when she makes sabaayat, chicken steak, fuul, hard boiled eggs, salad and her secret salad dressing.



She also makes delicious homemade sambusa.


Her home made creme-brûlée.

Her famous upside pineapple cake wth orange zest.

Her bariis isku dhex kariis with fried potatoes, caramelized onions with raisins and bisbaas


Her famous mango with lime and vimto smoothie


Home made muufo with maraq

Wow, kinda same. I like when my mom makes stew with goat meat, pinto beans, potatoes with sabaayat. That's my #1 meal that my mom makes that slaps.

But the thing I miss most frequently is her TEA.

The most memorable dish she made for us when we were small was her suqaar
She used to cook for the neighbor kids too, that's how much everyone liked her cooking

I LIVE FOR THAT SUBAG my mom always tells me not to eat much subaq she says ill get sick i really love everything my mom makes

You should cook it in oil, I hate subag too.

Guys you can add cardamom to the subaag, it will taste delicious.


Heat the subaag, crush couple of cardamom seeds and heat together.
