Story timmmmeeeeee

This Somali lady who came to the country 6 years ago came over to our home and was in distress. She told us she wants to divorce her husband because he is not helping her learn how to drive, and she's been asking him since they came to the country to give her practical driving lessons. She wants to be independent and run her errands while he is at work. But instead has to wait for him to take her to the shop or sends him a message to buy groceries. The problem isn't just that . The husband helps other Somali refuge's with learning how to drive for free this includes other women, these women have been in the country for almost 2 years and they know how to drive before this lady who's been here for 6 years. The wife also complained that her husband dosen't give advice to his own children, 2 of them are married and are having relationship problems and her husband just says let them divorce, but he will advice his own friends or strangers for hours on the phone and counsel them like it's his own children and try fix their relationships.

She says her husband has no dhig in him.

How would you support this mother? I'm thinking of giving her lessons in my uni break.

Daddy ain't around, probably out there committing felony

She sounds like a dhiblay
That’s a petty reason for divorce
Why is she waiting for her husband to teach her
When she can hire someone herself
If money is the issue she’s clearly got two grown kids
Why does she wait for her husband to take her grocery shopping
Furthermore she’s insulting her husband to other people
Saying he has no dhig
Keep your problems in house and reflect upon your actions
I would not support her in anyway

That's all she told us but their could be more to the story why she wants to divorce him.
Only one of her children live in the same city as her and they have children to take care of and they study, this mother also has 5 other children who are under 12 so that's a reason why she can't just go out and do her grocery's, the children need supervision.if she had a car she could do everything on her own.

Regardless that’s their mum they have an obligation to her even if they have kids of their own. If she’s got kids at home she should probably do it while their at school.
If he’s paying the bills it’s probably not a good idea to get rid of him, She’ll be worse off and still have five kids.

But that's not the point, he helps others for free to learn to drive. Why can't he teach her on his free days? He should build and support his own family first before others.

You need people like me
I don’t know why wives think they’re the most important people in a man’s life. Mother, daughter, first baby mama, latest cheating partner, wife. In that order.

You and your family should have some shame and stop gossiping with females about their husbands. Miskeenta doesn't know she'll be used as a pawn in your endless thirst for trending topics

No I just don’t believe you should rely on a man
If he ain’t doing it I wouldn’t tie myself to him
Get it done yourself
Don’t be a victim

First, she can learn how to drive. Second, she can take public transportation if she needs to go anywhere. Third, nice made up story, I give it 5/10.

@SOULSEARCHING do u have dhig yourself? Or it ALL num? :(

Sounds like her husband is a clever one. The reason their relationship have survived this long is because he had her in a leash. Now the wife wants to learn how to drive, oh wait, be 'independent' so she can dump his fat a$$
