Huh ? Sir, I explained what one of my relatives went through. She got HIV. I know other women who caught a std even from the husband being with multiple wives.

You have to understand polygamy isn’t all love and roses where the wives all are friends with each other. And we all know each other’s sexual health status.

I’m talking about the second wife that’s overseas and left alone for long periods of time. Lonely. Wants companionship. I saw personally what was going on there, when these young beautiful women who are married to much older men may get into, when they’re left alone for years
What my cousin did, I was shocked but I don’t judge her, as she was left alone for years by her husband.

I’m NOT saying that, it always happens there with those fob girls. so please don’t get at me. But there’s cases where it does.

And the husband goes there to see her.
I usually respect your posts but sir, it’s delusional to not demand your husband to get a test every time he comes back from Africa.
Of course this isn’t always the case with multiple wives. I’m not saying that.

But remember this, just cause a woman agrees to be in a polygamous marriage and trusts her husband, it doesn’t mean she has to trust that other wife.

@Amina99 how did your relative share with u about her HIV status? I would think that is a private disclosure. If a loved disclose that to me, i will love em 100% but i would also have high anxiety as i have bad many nightmare while sleeping of getting HIV

Ok so this happened nearly 10 plus years ago. When I was a teenager. We came home from school to see a beloved relative of ours, who was crying with all these women supporting her telling her it’ll be ok.
Being young chidlren, we didn’t understand what was going on.
My mom eventually told me like two years ago, that the reason that she was crying was cause she found out she was HIV positive, and that her husband was going around saying it was her that gave it to him.

The Miskeen woman was like, I’m stuck at home with all the kids, while he’s the one always travelling to Africa all the time. How could he say it was me ? Miskeen.

Shes doing well. Taking her medication.
She had to be careful in terms of not being able to spread it to her kids. Like if they got sick or a cut into their arm, she had to be careful about spreading it to them.

She divorced him as well. Her children don’t deal with him, cause not only did they found out they Miskeen hoyoo was sick cause of their dad, but that they heard what the dad was saying about their mother.
Imagine all for marrying another woman. That not only do you make your wife sick, but you eventually lose the respect from your kids.

Thats why I said earlier, men can remarry if they please but please let the wife know so that she can take std testing for her own health, and the kids health as well.

I agree, but when some husbands wanna leave overseas and they talking about, “it’s for business” or that he’s visiting family and he’s constantly going over there and not being truthful about what he’s doing ?
I’m speaking from what the many women my mother knew, or female relatives here in the west went through that with their husbands. And the husbands had a whole secret family.

When he’s being discreet and doesn’t even want you or the kids to come along with him or visit him ? I think it’s ok to be wary, is all I’m saying.

I literally knew men ( some of my uncles told me this ) who said their friends would try to hook them up with other women to either just smash or secretly marry, since he’s always visiting the country for business or whatever.
They explained how they would always decline but knew some men who would give in and do that.

A woman has the right to be wary, when her husband is being sketchy about it, that’s it. That’s my final piece on it.

My point is you cannot get HIV from being in polgyny with multiple chaste women.
The only way you get HIV is by sleeping with unchaste people, the point is that if you get HIV either your husband has commit zina, or his second wife has, or someone she slept with has, either way someone has commit zina, all people should have health checks done before marriage anyway
