So recently couple of masjid imams spoke against Deni's visit to kismaayo. Mudane faroole reminded them on the role of our culama which traditionally stay out of politics. Faroole said, if you want to speak about politics, awoogin la guub, put the kitaab down and join us at the hall of politics where we will debate the issues fiercely. You cant do both. This is not the south, we all have roles to play.

If a law for example was passed that goes against the deen, absolutely they have every right and we would expect them to speak about it. I didn't know going to kismaayo was against islam.

Brother I strongly disagree. Everyone knows faroole is my favourite politician in all of Somalia. Best puntland president after AY. AUN. But the ulama are important for politics. I hope our leaders in the future run the government the way our beautiful deen tells us too. Corruption would be obsolete
