Farmajo Very Popular In PL

Farmajo is loved in PL, I never deny this to @Calaf hadi manta ay dhici lahayd '1 man 1 vote' I would concede to you that there is no-one coming close to Farmajo. Why u think Farmajo was trying to do 1 man 1 vote? and why u think the opposition was stopping it in every corner? it's not just cause it was left to late? Farmajo could've started the one man one vote program early on during his tenure but he knew no-one would 'tolerate' it because if the vote goes to the people, Farmajo is the clear winner. The opposition are bringing your ass to the 'auction war' and U know deep down an auction war never favors the incumbent, the incumbent will be stripped of his money in the early rounds because he has to 'pay' during the first rounds or else he won't get to a second round.

Where-as the opposition will not dump all their money in the early rounds and will field 'clan diverse' field so they steal their clan votes, it's when it gets to the second round is when the coalition starts to play hard. This is when the incumbent is finished in terms of his funds and he has no 'coalition' usually from the opposition camp. It's always the incumbent vs a range of clan candidates in the first round and I think it's purely intentional that strategy so they can 'divert' the votes away from 'farmajo' by getting clans people to vote for their clan. That's why u will see in the first round 'farmajo' in the lead like all incumbents will be and then a range of candidates with medium level of votes.

It's when the second/third round happens and farmajo is 'fully cashless' due to the first round, that's when the coalition creates another 'camp' this time ensuring 'two' candidates are endorsed so they don't put their 'eggs' in one bag like 'farmajo' will constantly be doing. If it gets to the 'third round' the money will continue to be 'spilled' higher as the votes in the second-third rounds 'count the most' not the 'first round' because 'qabiil' is being used at this stage to siphon away 'farmajo voters'. If it reaches the third round and it's farmajo and one of the 'coalition' tag-teams left, the one who lost will be 'told here is bit more cash for your voter camp' and re-direct their voting to the leading opposition camp and this is when the election is over. That's why u never see it as 'tight' race in Hamar, it's clearly predictable the strategies used.

I won't lie to you Mr Marehan boy, you should never allowed an election be held outside the popular vote. U should've of appealed to the emotions of Somalis saying ' i want your voice to count' and took 'big stance' against 'bribery' declaring a 'corruption' watch dog or something for the election and anyone found with bribes is considered a 'lost vote'. Those two things are not in your favor, u don't want an election being held by the 'elites' as the elite want 'power'.

Nor do u want an election to be based on money since it won't work in the incumbent favor and never has and it cannot work in their favor as their outstretched in the first round paying of mps to last the second or third round. While the biggest mistake u did was turn PL/JL against u. U need the 'elite opposition' broken down and joining in you in a 'coalition' then it would get interesting because it's a bit fairer now rather then just 1 man like farmajo trying to survive 3 rounds of voting, with thm they're fielding a number of elites and their choosing who survives the best, their not running one candidate thru 3 rounds and therefore they will provision their 'bribery' when the 'stakes are the highest' in the third round and when farmajo is at his lowest in money. U never take on the criticism of Farmajo, u do sometimes acknowledge criticism of his approach but majority of time your cheerleader.

@hawa-ali read my analysis on Somali elections. I am not going tribal either as I know that 'hurts your tribally correct feelings'. This stooge @Calaf doesn't see how the election is played continously for a decade now. He thinks their is some 'big opposition' candidate that will come out and challenge him and it will be one on one. No nigga, it will be 10 on 1 and the 1 side will be YOU. The coalition do this so they can secure 'camps' of clannists in the early round and 'spread' it broadly thru the 10 opposition candidates. The strategy behind this is quite simple.

If they field one mighty candidate early on, the liklihood he will secure a big majority early on is unlikely due to farmajo utilizing most of his 'cash' in the first round in order to survive to the second round. Their response is to field 10 different candidates who break the parliament into clannism as the first strategy. Second round when 5 or more of the opposition pass away in the first round, they work out the 'votes they have' as a 'coalition', where-as you don't, you only have farmajo remember, it's the all eggs in one basket approach like all the incumbents do. The second round will allow them to 'slim' down the coalition and bring it down to 'two runners' against Farmajo, now it's 2-3 major candidates while farmajo is still 1 candidate.

It's the third round and who survives in the coalition with the highest count will tell the other coalition members to 'swing' all their camp towards the final coalition endorsed leader, this is when they will 'strike' with 'huge dumps of money' notice it won't be the first round, it will start 'steadily' in the second round and it will get to a 'climax' in the third round when 'farmajo' has no more money left due to spending it all in the first 1 and 2 rounds. He has to spend heavy is quite scintific sxb because he is only 1 candidate, he can't rely on other coalition members to pay and bribe and create a 'second camp' for him, which is the reason why the incumbent are technically are entering an election environment that is totally against their 'strategy'.

Deni/Madoobe are not entering Farmajo playground of 'one man one vote', we will never allow u to have an election that favours your re-election. Deni/Madoobe know their going to get rid of u like they did with all the other incumbents of the past, thru sheer 'auction war' and auction wars never fafvor the incumbent is a fundamental truth in Somali politics. Deni/Madoobe have ur ass tied down to an election style that is guaranteed to favor the coalition where-as your entering a 'den' of auctions and only fielding one man for 3 long exhausting rounds of 'payments', where-as we don't start paying till second and finally the 'third'. U will break up your funds 'early' in the first round only spending 'selected dosage'' and saving some for the 'second' and 'third' but as u do that u get 'cheaper and cheaper' in your bribe since u exhausted a-lot already. That is the 'financial attrition' style of dominance, they will just exhaust ur funds cause u need to use it for 3 rounds continously, u have no partner either like all incumbents.

God dammit you lost the election waryaa, you entered an election that is based on 'money' and you don't have a coalition running and relying on 'loyal farmajo voters' in the parliament and there is nothing 'loyal' about those 'dhocils' in parliament which u will find out in election day. U will walk out like HSM did since u r doing the exact 'regional intereference' in GM/HS/SW thinking their MPS will remain loyal to your 30k bribe and then 15k bribe in second round as your suffering 'financial attrition effect' and then Deni/Madoobe are like here u go boys 'Dubai 100k' because they haven't financially exhausted their funds due to their early round strategies and saved that cash when the 'counts are most important' which is the second/third round.

Somali election style is 'gambling' if u don't know how to gamble and strategies used u won't win waryaa, there is no such thing as creating puppets and loyalists in an election, it makes no sense that u rely on that method because the whole point of elites is not to be loyal and take their bribe based on the highest bidder and by the second/third round u went thru financial attrition and blew that qatari budget lol and the Deni/Madoobe boys haven't even 'touched their dubai budget'. This is going to be vicious battle that u r seeking but so far I know u entered our ball park, we are not fighting u thru popular elections which is your 'advantage' and nor are we seeing u 'banning money' which is in our 'favor' due to so much evidence showing how coalition operate their funds through-out many elections is quite consistent which is 'save save save' till 2nd/3rd round, while you spent spent spent during 1st/2nd rounds to have enough left to match what they can offer in the third round.

The last thing that kills u is, we don't throw our support behind 1 man like u will be, one man surviving 3 rounds lol you fkn nacas b22n. U need coalition at all times and then select who has the most in the final rounds and then combine the coalition loser base into a large landslide in the end. They will even cut into your 'voter' base who by that time will see how much is on offer by DENI/MADOOBE and look at farmajo who over-spent his budget lol and u won't even be able to keep them on board .

@Calaf Why do u always conveniently run or hide when a Majerten discusses politics? u seem to go many rounds with HAG but once MJ gets involved, I sense a 'deep sense of fear' that u have no answer or solution too. Your one candidate farmajo surviving three rounds with a 'qatar budget' which isn't a 'as u need budget' it's 'closed budget' and your told to work within it.

Then your nacas ass fields one candidate with a defined budget and playing 'financial attritution' war and u have no coalition candidate running either to combine the votes or at least 'save' your funds from being exhausted in the early rounds and leave it at the last rounds when the votes becoming more happen, because by then, it would've turned into 'large camps' and a big bribe is needed to secure those large camps.

Somalia election my friend is something u would call 'gambling' your using money and playing a 'game of chance' it's actually haram in your religion but u still do it and why I say u must ban Islam since it's not even adhered to in real life, it's only a culture now noone believes in that crap and it's holding Somalia back from becoming a powerful country.

No religious country is powerful, because they are in a stone age idealogy. But go and learn 'gambling' at least go to 'casinos' and watch the 'art' of how to win a game by using money and getting a final outcome be it 'votes, more money, etc' your in a 'game of chance' now and ur using money so it's technically gambling.

Very popular?

That means we need to work on delivering correct information to the masses and also that people are easily fooled by "iigu sawir".

You're telling me that Puntites support Farmaajo, the man who has allowed (or pushed) our students to be harassed by Goodax Barre?

I am not denying that reality. The man is popular on the ground level, not just in PL but all Somalia. They seem to love him, their must be some reason. I never see the people protesting against him, heck the elites can barely organize their people in protests because they know he is loved. Now yes the elites do hate him but they would hate anyone in the office it's nothing personal about him they hate, it's just they don't feel his a workable leader, plus it's election time, of course they are going to hate him when the office is up for grabs. That's quite natural really. The same thing happens to all Presidents no matter regional or federal and it's due to people wanting to lead.

If an election happened with one man one vote, I doubt they would vote against him and he would win by a landslide. But since that isn't going to happen, he will need to be elected by his own 'peers' and that is where I believe he will struggle and I gave my reasons and Calaf hasn't responded.

@DR OSMAN answer honestly do most MJs hate Siad Barre?

Siyad Barre will depend who u speak too in PL. It's a decisive issue the man and his legacy. There are two camps within MJ generally the civilian class vs rebel groups both do not agree on his legacy from what I noticed. The civilian class honor him for his contribution to the nation in terms of economic development, infrastructure, education, health, etc. They argue our 'clans' got an educated class, port, road, scholarships, etc and prospered quite well under his reign and we should at least acknowledge that legacy.

While there is another camp who argue the oppposite especially the 'ssdf' loyalists and say he was a thug, wasn't elected, stole power, committed poisoned wells for nomads, raped women, etc, etc. This camp is very anti siyad and they tend to have a large following due to people loving Abdillahi Yusuf who was seen as 'Restorer of MJ Pride' and therefore they won't like Siyad Barre.

The last camp I noticed are also those who saw the civil war and when they saw nothing replace siyad barre that was better and their life turned upside/down they developed an appreciation of siyad barre due to the impact of the civil war. This group exists widely in Somalia also. One of the reasons why Marehan get elected is due to the legacy of siyad on the nation, hence why I find it strange Farmajo didn't focus on leaving a lasting legacy so other marehan can benefit from it in the future. A legacy last a long time in people mind, the cash approach is only 'temporary' sxb, it won't leave a lasting legacy that your people will inherit so they can catapult from it.

My father Was Diplomat and therefore a civilian of siyad barre govt, he also contributed his share towards the SSDF while ironically working for 'siyad' he regrets this now but it's to late he says. He also loves Abdillahi Yusuf because he feels he 'saved' our clan after 91, while at times he hates him and says 'he started the mess' and put our clan in danger.

But in general he has 'soft spot for the old man' due to his 'qadiyad' and uncorruptable attitude and his old school mentality of leaving a legacy and not dying a no-namer like the warlords. He kind of feared that my father said that he would be remembered for the civil war only and why he was hell bent to rectify himself.

@Canvaboy siyad barre is 'decisive' character to say the least especially among clans and depending on what 'class' they belonged too. Such as civilian or jabhad. But there is uniform 'hatred' of USC/SNM, there is no decisiveness about those thugs from what I seen irrespective of class divide, they are considered the 'true enemy' of PL, not even Marehan who is seen more trying coat-tail of the 'conflict between ssdf/usc' and sneak into power as the 'lesser evil option' and of course sthe 'siyad legacy'. But that usually is reer deeni who try to cover themselves up as if it's sade wide thing when the other sades are very anti HAG also after what happened to 91. 91 was a key turning milestone for the nation sxb, it's what is causing all this hatred and suspicions and mistrust and not having a proper govt. All of these ills stem back to 91 not siyad barre like some love to claim. If it was siyad barre the issue, we would've been functioning str8 away after he fell like how ethiopia recovered immediately after menguistu fell.

91 is where the root cause of Somalia problem is and everything u see today reports back to that cancerous event in the nation. Not just Darod vs Hawiye but the Hawiye vs Hawiye all the conflict 'roots back to the USC'

Puntland doesn't have a protesting culture and since Farmajo is powerless there, there's not much reason to protest against him.

Both my parents were part of this 'civilian' class in the heart of the beast that is Mogadishu and have nothing good to say about Siad Barre and his NSS dogs. As part of the kacaan, your father's experience isn't representative of the majority of our clan.

@Canvaboy my father was diplomat was he was hired by Siyad so he says it will look stupid he bad mouths him, which he finds strange when people who worked for him bad mouthing him and says 'damiir malaha' which shows their not genuine people whatsoever as they won't thank him for what he did for them, which is quite a low dog act in his view. He says 'maxaa ahan lahayeen if siad didn't make them' he really can't stand those types.

Like Faysal Al Waraabes and shit. But that is generally the people who worked for him will give positive image, where-as those who fought him obviously they are not going to give any glaring review. So it's 50/50 split. I would say 80/20 split if USC didn't happen, where my dad would be in the 20% camp of siad loyalist like morgan even tho he was paying SSDF with his some of his pay check at the time for selfish reasons though he thought he wud secure better position was his reasoning. But when USC happened and the civil war that 80/20 camp is now 50/50 camp inside MJ about siyad barre and the aftermath of the civil war and I think it will swing further 80 pro siyad and 20 pro ssdf.

So let me address all your issues @DR OSMAN

This is the following reasons why I believe Farmajo will win, whatever the candidate field.

10 vs 1, 400 vs 1, 1000 vs 1, this ain't about the quantity, but the quality. Out of all of that, I, in my opinion think Farmajo will win. This is not coming from a Tribal mindset, but a common one. If you honestly want a Tribal opinion from me : FarmajoOUT!, we need a Barre in power. But in a common way, it makes sense that he is the popular one.

1M1V would have been a light for Farmajo. His popularity is a unique one. The online opinion and the on the ground one is different. Farmajo is liked for being a one of a kind really. Unlike the two Shiekhs, (Anything before 2010s wouldn't be classified as a stable period, whereas after the creation of the Provisional Constitution, is where the point of accountability starts), Farmajo is the "best/suitable as leader". But, using this start off date, you cannot compare Abdullahi Yusuf AUN to Farmajo, since they both had a different dilemma to deal with, and not the same structure of Government. The people love him, he is seemed as "less corrupt" and is more into "PR", so he seem as the "Peoples President". You would have not seen the same level of admiration during Hassan Shiekh and certainly not Sharif Shiekh. But, 1M1V, is not occuring. It is now the MPs who select him. And guess what? His staratgy of playing puppets as leader has worked. You may think it will go to the "highest bidder". But Farmajo, he is the "highest bidder." Right now, there is the fact going around that, he is going to fill up the parliament with his stooges. How?, a combination of Fahad Yasin and a weird political complex. This disqualifies people like Hasan Kheyre, who you may know, was disregarded by parliament. He paid top dime, and yet got ejected. So what makes you think he will come back.

The candidate field right now is rinsed out. We have Laangaabs, 2 known corrupt officials, a Disgruntled ex Prime Minister and a warlord running as President. Then we have Farmajo. The elites of Somalia may not like him, but they didn't find a replacement, a politician to trust. This is why the opposition camp is not united at all.

In terms of the video you posted, it clearly shows "Daroodnimo" being the main factor. Something still held on in a incorrect fashion. But again, nobody to replace Farmajo, not even another Darood.

In easier terms, find a replacement, A GOOD ONE, or stay stuck with Farmajo. If you are not united now, as oppositions, then how in the hell do you think you will win?

Can we clear one point. The President Farmajo, doesn't have control over the ministries. Kheyre was the one who appointed Goodax, not Farmajo. Under Kheyre watch this occurred. The Prime Minister appoints these ministers and have oversight over them. If Farmajo did intervene, don't you think it would be deemed as Presidential overreach, and the hordes would have came screaming. But Puntland, for some reason was against Kheyre ousting.

Honestly, did you not see the stark change of tone the moment Rooble was appointed and Goodax was sacked?

They see the alternative of Hassan Calasow, Sheikh Dalxis, the seller of the ocean, Abdirahman Abdidhakur, failed Galnus leader Abdukarim Guled and the tuug Sharif sakin. In short, we have shit opposition.

Sharif Sakin - "Rinsed out" "Corrupt"

What other oppositions do you have? When your list is as this bad, what do you expect, go for the next best thing, which is Farmajo.

Also, there is a common theme here. All are Hawiyes. Which mean, no diversity. Where is the Darood opposition. Is Deni not running? Once there is a variation for the Daroods, then we can select the best one. Or stay stuck with Farmajo.
