The effect this will have on environment is obvious to anyone, it will turn the farming areas into desert, he is using climate change to displace people and turn it into a desert so his ogaden clans-men can settle the land. This is brutal, he cut a deal with shabab who controls those areas to keep cutting trees and bringing the charcoal to kismayo.

Doesn't shabab know they are essentially uprooting the farmers in the future when that area becomes a desert and they will end up in refugee camps in Kismayo? Isn't this suspicious to you? Shabab controls juba dhexe and upper part of lower juba. Why would it allow those non darod farming districts of rahanwayn, Madow, sheikhal, dir to turn into a desert and eventual IDP. Only clan who has nomads and camels in JL are Sade and Ogaden, so it's obvious who will park in and move into those lands in the future.
