UPDATE Farmaajo to meet with the five regional leaders

Is it just me or are all these Dhusamareb meetings just for photo op. Correct me if I’m wrong but this is the third or fourth Dhusamareeb meeting in the past 6 months or so. We’re still in a stalemate about a so called “election” which is 9 days away (February 8th) :stressed:

No they are not for op, real agreements were reached.

what happened to "no more meetings"?
what happened to "beesha caalamka farmaajo waxba uma yeedhiso"?

hopefully this puts to rest who controls the country.

farmaajo will ask for an extension when he comes back on the fifth, from an illegal parliamentary whose time has already expired. :mjkkk:

farmaajo is playing fdk wallahi.

If he was ambitious enough and had the support of his army , this maybe idealistic but he could invite them fire at them inside that hall of invitation and while their governments shocked with this act, his troops which he carefully placed at the borders with federal states could make lightning movements into each federal state. in one move all somalia could be his and hell be left with the rebelious somaliland, but this requires atleast 40k soldeirs to pull off and they must be loyal and well trained and commanded well.

Meetings are never useless, they always calm the situation even if it looks useless on the surface. Something about face to face dialogue is really special, it appeals to the soul. I welcome the samreeb conference:)

If he was a competent president:
•He’d secure the Capital which he’s failed to do.
•He’d get rid of Al Shabab which he promised to do.

I could do a whole list of things he could do. But your “ambtion” is basically you want Farmaajo to be another dictator and the centralization Of Somalia. #Nostaligia

no i know he failed utterly but im talking about if he was competent enough and self sacrificing enough to see that democracy with a strong nation matters but democracy must be maintained by a federal governemnt in the capital , somalis are not mature enough to play international politics and always need a foreign daddy regardless if u call urself puntland somaliland jubaland ure just another foreign slave, u need a powerful government in mogadishu but a strong federal system with power gradually given back to the federal states once they are deemed mature enough and dont start calling foreigners into the country.

We could also do a multi clan ruling coucnil whereby all are equal under the law, but this is always rejected by somalis because at the end of the day to them ruling over their little irrelevant qabiil fiefdom matters

Sorry but I disagree some states are more mature and are better functioned then the Federal Government itself. PL and SL are key examples of that. Maybe the Federal Government needs to sort it's shit out before worrying about Federal states.

On your point about maturity who’s more immature than the Federal Government themselves. On your point about you saying Federal states shouldn’t “bring foreigners” that’s pretty ironic considering Federal Government does literally the same.

You must be new to Somali Geopolitics the whole Somali Federal Poltical structure is based on 4.5 which is a tribal monopoly.

well i know that ,also im not new. We will be forever crippled with 4.5 and we will forever be in some kind of conflict. Somalis achieve more with unity honestly and i dont mean the building and the cities that were expanded after the war i mean nationally and people wise we would be far ahead of our peers.

Maturity is knowing when ure a foreign lackey who has nothing to offer other than your soveriegnty, this caused many people e.g germans to unite they knew when to stop being a bunch of squabbling states controlled by foreigners to being a unified country. u have to know, it doesnt matter how much of an idiot the rulers in mogadishu are u can in no way convince me the federal states are somehow independednt and soveriegn , they are all lackeys not much different ,we should either be a ruling council or a central government both which give us more power, otherwise we should just go our separate ways and accept our weak poisition as an ethnic group.

Also im in no way a faramaajo supporter nor am i a blind man who only sees qabiil fiefdoms, i only see a unified somali state with a unified consince , i wouldnt mind if isaaqs took over the whole country or majerrtens took over the country or ogs took over the country or hawiye took over the country etc...... all that matters is a unified diplomatic conscine so we act as one in the face of the world rather than a bunch of people so weak that states so weak like ethiopia can tell us who to be or command our politicians. We have the power to change things for the better and forgive each other. Further dividing ourselves into federal states will never solve anything other than further destroy the very achievable goal of somaliweyn.

I might sound like a yahoo dreamer in this post but believe me we have only 3 options when it all comes down to the specifics.
