Believe it or not but Somalia has a strong civil society, they are the ones running schools, businesses and even security. You want to tolerate a weak governemnet, and give them time to get stronger. I've said this before. Somalia at its present doesn't need a strong leader. A strong leader will only make things difficult. We need a good manager. Someone who can keep the herd together. A country that's healing from a brutal civil war needs a soft leader that can bring all the opposing groups on board. How can one accomplish that? I have no idea. I do know that at the moment we can't differentiate right from wrong because we have no constitution, we have no legal framework that specifices the responsibilities of the president, PM, SFG, federal states vs SFG. At least sort things out on paper.

Nepotism per say is not a problem but a strength if used in the right way, it creates a long lasting trust bond in a way no other relationship can, allowing you to effectively push the right agenda's without worrying about conflict or being stabbed in the back by turncoat bakhti internal enemy.

The problem with the government is 'appeasement' approach to enemies while undermining their main core support base, the people whom voted in the first and second round when it mattered most overwhelmingly for Farmaajo are the same ones he has thrown under the bus.

That's the crux of the problems here and pretty much the same mistake each president before made, when you appease a group of people that are natural enemies to you the end result is that you loose everyone.

To make matters worse the current security in Xamar is worse then it was under Shariif/HSM because of the premature debacle of removing private security personnel whom kept many neighbourhoods safe from shabab and other tuugo while having no one else to fill that void they left, as a result chaos is ensuing in many parts that were safe before.

I was speaking to a very optimistic relative the other day whom said he planned to move to Kenya as a result of these debacles, what kept order in Xamar was these private security firms which businesses and regular people paid to protect/police neighbourhoods from shabab and criminals outside of any government interference (neither Shariif/HSM dared to)

A lot of these destructive agenda's which the PM opposes comes directly from Farmaajo and his advisers whom are hell bent on doing an afbijo in Xamar by causing chaos in order to use this as a means of moving the capital to Kismaayo for which the ground base is already prepared.

This is the end game here and hence why the key ministerial positions that will make this move possible legally have already been appointed beforehand specifically by Farmaajo request (3 key positions that begins with the interior)

If this menace continues we are looking at war in the North (over the SCC regions with Somaliland) which the SFG has instigated in a big way even getting the IC to support them like never before and cut funding to Somaliland, the SFG is also engineering a coup against Gaas in Puntland which could open up another front, then you have the tense stand off in Koonfur ready to ignite and the distrust in Jubaland heating up, it's not looking good.
