Men should definitely know how to cook as well; it balances things out and women love it.

In these modern times it either means he’s soft or fruity. A man who cooks for his women is still a man but he has low T or probably isn’t the bread winner of the family.
I know this question isn’t for me but I’m bored. I would personally respect a man who has the basic life skill of cooking. I saw my little nephew making canjeero in Somalia and I have never been more impressed. He was justifiably embarrassed because I wanted to record him. His mom was more reer magal than most moms living in Somalia or even qurbo. Yet they were small town people. Her children all partook in helping the family with chores. I also have male relatives here who are able to cook and help the family when the need arises. It’s a life skill. A father or husband who isn’t baqeyl to his family is the best father and husband.

The kids were in their own home which was gated. I don’t think they go around telling people that because some people behave ignorantly.
My wife will be white so there’s no need for me to hide anything from her. And if I knew how to cook I would certainly cook in front of her because she won’t judge me for it. And she won’t leave the kitchen just because her husband knows how to stir the pot

I used to think this was a stereotype. I often hear people say many Somali men are a lot more helpful with ajnabi women, especially cadaan but are the opposite with Somali women. But now we have someone admitting it.

When you help a Somali women, she thinks she’s the boss, they’re very materialistic and can’t be controlled. This is why I can’t have a Somali wife, most are just ungrateful and she’ll even tell all her friends you used to cook for her, and if you happen to divorce her she’ll even tell the whole community you’re soft and used to go cook in the kitchen. This why Somali men avoid cooking for Somali women
What experience of Somali women do you have in that regard? Are the women in your family like that?
Obviously, what you're saying is probably with regards to fobs. Western Somali girls expect their husbands to help and wouldn't use that against him. That seems like fobby habayar antics.
Well 95% of Somalis are fobs I don’t count the 5% diaspora, no need for it tbh
