Faraxs, how many of you never want to have a daughter?

Considering some hilarious posts I’ve seen on the General section, I am interested in the attitudes of faraxs on sspot towards having daughters. We all know of the primal fear of raising your daughter only for her to become promiscuous and vice versa with homosexual sons. Some men fear having daughters altogether. Do any of you share this sentiment?

I’m pretty sure there was a thread on this and the overwhelming majority voted for a gay son over a daughter for fear of imagined promiscuity. Pretty sad.

Make hijrah to a Muslim country and raise them in a good way and inshallah no problem

Having a daughter is a blessing especially in old age, as they more likely to care for you and be involved in your life than a grown up sons. Also having baby girl softens a men heart, if you are actively involved in your children life, you will raise responsible adults who know their deen and lead productive lives.

Isn’t there a Hadith that said the man who raises three daughters gets jannah?

But then again I would be happy with whatever Allah SWT blesses me with.

“Whoever has three daughters whom he gives a safe home, provides for and shows mercy to, Paradise is certainly guaranteed for him.”A man asked, “And (for) two, O Messenger of Allah?” He (peace be upon him) replied “And also (for the one who has) two (daughters).” [Ahmad] [Bukhari in Al-Adab Al-Mufrad]


And in another narration:

Anas

reported that the Prophet

said: "He who raises two daughters until their puberty will be with me in Paradise like this", and he symbolized the proximity by showing two of his fingers with a slight gap between them." [Muslim]
