That brother got his asylum. He’s gonna be eligible to work. In no time, he will be on a doing 13 hours a day making more money and savings than those racists interviewing him.

Somalia is getting slightly better. However, it is still an extremely poor country with one of the highest youth unemployment rates in the world. Also, if this guy is really from ceelbuur he must have seen and lived under some shabab atrocities. From his language skills, I assume he must have a decent education in Muqdisho or another major city somewhere. The brother has potential, a sense of calmness around him, and will most likely thrive in the west. Just look at this form a logical perspective: there is nothing for most men his age in Somalia unless you know someone who has a link to a big company or businessmen. And even then, the salaries are so low, you can make 10 ten more money from doing Uber eats deliveries in the west.

People are coming from more stable places like Iran and Kurdistan, Pakistani, so what is so special about Somalia that people should not leave it for a better life? I have about 4 cousins who graduated from Somali universities and they all jobs getting a few hundred dollars a week or are unemployed.

For my white friends stalking this thread, we are not saying everyone should flee to England. I believe sub Saharan Africans and Arabs should develope their own countries instead of coming to Europe. That said, all we are saying is that we understand why desperate young men flee poor countries.
