Unpopular muslim opinion : A Deadbeat Somali alcoholic gangbanger who’s a part time Muslim is considerably worse than the average decently educated ex Muslim. Relationships with god is a private matter and someone’s character isn’t reflective of their ascribed theology. I know honest hard working atheists that do countless worldly good deeds but for some reason I’m meant to inherently hate the enemy? I don’t get why we have an us vs them stance , it’ s not progressive at all.

That isn’t statistically consistent, I could see what your saying in a broader sense since humans generally shift to conserving what they identify with. Plenty of people that call themselves Muslims but hate other Muslims because of their differences. There are naturally born atheists in remote parts of the world, there isn’t a mystically bound air of hatred between them and random Muslim on the globe. If you segregate yourself from people and think like that then they will automatically hate you.

A Muslim hates another muslim for sometimes very valid reasons and sometimes very invalid reasons. BUT their natural disposition if they value and understand islam is generally a feeling of amicability.

Atheists have a thirst against muslims and religious people because of the curse of their condition. Never has there been an atheist whose heart doesn't harbour hate at the religious people around him. Some express it others are too miskeen and scared to express it. But what's in their heart is uniform and universal

What's stopping you from fasting? Are you sick? Do you take medications?

Ramadan cleans your soul, it also makes you closer to Allah swt. You also feel how the unprivileged people live, some people don't even has dates to break their fasts with but they still fast.

I think that fake fasting is a thing of the past. Nowadays, no one cares if you fast, as the act of fasting is between you and Allah anyways.
