Of course, no one helps you out of kindness in this world; They have their plans and are playing the long game.

They've also been given so much leeway just because of the fact that they were here first. It's sad that most glance over this, and it's like we're slowly being colonized. They're teaching Turkish in some schools; what benefit does it bring unless you want to move there? Children being given Turkish names and the obsession with anything Turkish.

I only wish we had competent leaders so we could truly benefit from a partnership and not end up on the shorter ends of any deals. Not too late to cut back on this endless gratitude we're showing and start looking for ways we can work with each other without having to adapt their culture and give away resources.
