Nah, most likely a BGP error at most, or even a Gateway error. WhatsApp, Insta and Facebook are intertwined, so it makes sense, Twitter must be glitching due to the high influx of users, mainly around DM and posts, since it will be overused, If it was for global social media, from Reddit to YouTube would have crashed and not worked.

In Australia, out of the hundreds of people I know (friends, family, acquaintances) maybe 10 have Twitter.

My younger siblings are in this TikTok generation (born in 2000s) and none of them have Twitter.

Yep keyword is "younger". Younger siblings and generation use Snapchat and Instagram and other Tiktok. It's been hurting Facebook. It's why Facebook even hides the deactivate link and people have to Google where to get direct link to deactivate. Many fbook users are also dead/died
