Can you expand on this? How do you know Qatar dropped him? Doesn't Fahad Yasin have his contacts there? And isn't the parliament stacked with this former NISA agents?

Qatar has been threatened by the US with sanctions if they continue supporting him. First thing they did last year was cut aid to Somalia till an election happens

I'm sorry but do you have sources for this? I'm very skeptical US would sanction Qatar for Somalia/Farmaajo sake. In fact, I greatly doubt that.

Matter fact, I remember Farmaajo in Qatar beginning of March meeting the ruler.

Are you refering to the same Fahad Yasin that was refused a Parliament seat he was so called elected for? lol

This election is not about money but change of leadership, and it's clear old guard will not be returning under the current curcumstances. 70% of Parliament are new MPs.
