Most of it is genetics but i would advise use olive oil and don't shave just leave it for months and months

yours looks decent, but doesnt look full/off volume. look up volume and stuff, girls deal with it too, as thick hair, volumous hair is the goal, where you cant see any scalp. this is usually done by massaging oils into your scalp, so assuming it will work with beards too

different oils penetrate differently, but they definitely work if used consistently, with the best results from mixed concotions with a base of jogoba oil and/or argan oil, then testing out other vitamin e oils, seeing which works for you.
