August 25th, a Beechcraft Super King Air 350 aircraft took off from Djibouti and crossed on to Somaliland airspace.

Unlike many of the other flights using Somaliland airspace that day, this was the only unidentified flight without a call sign or a registered serial number. A standard practice for flights operated by military or intelligence services.

The aircraft unusual flight pattern started to zigzag over an area of Awdal region, making several passes over the same area before it proceeded to an area parrallel to Arabsiyo and North of Hargeisa , an area east of Lughaya on the coast before reaching an area between Berbera and Sheikh and conducting the same a repetitive flight over a small area.

    Flight Altitude and speed
Most commercial flights cruise at 35000 feet but this particular plane maintained an altitude of 19 to 22000 ft and averaged 200 kts ground speed during most of its flight.

Flightpath of unidentified aircraft (BE30) in Somaliland airspace.

Beech Master aircraft has been the standard special mission platform fielded by many NATO pact militareis around the world and most notably the United States whose Africa Command is based out of Djibouti.

Beech Master aircraft are capable of carrying an array of sophisticated surveillance equipment including Cameras, Lidar, and LOROP for Photography and Mapping.
The date of this flight coincides with an article by Michael Rubin of the American Enterprise Institute on the National Interestmagazine in which he implored the United States to consider setting up military bases in Somaliland.

United States has not expressed a formal interest in a military base in Somaliland though the type of aircraft and where it originated makes the United States the most likely country to own this plane.

Somaliland government officials would not confirm or deny the flight and declined to comment on if prior authorization has been sought for this flight.

They are just confirming there is 'no reer miyi' or livestock in SL which is what I tell people go out there on the roads or the planes, u will find that SL economy is linked to central/eastern ddsi which is darod. No livestock exists anywhere else in DDSI. The DR as usual right. No livestock in SL Turdibi corridor at galdogob combined with wadaagsin road will ensure the trucks from mudug start going to DDSI and collecting the livestock from each tuulo one by one and taking it towards the mudug corridor and exported at Garacad.

Games are over @SirLancelLord facts have arrived. SL will no longer have any source of revenue or any hard assets to export loooooooooool, you are hirshabelle in the making.

I am so poor yet your people work as chefs, waiters, and maids in PL AND Mogadishu. I don't see a Majerten or even frickin Hawiye working in such trades in Hargeisa. GTFOH with your incoherent khat ridden nonsense. Just remember Turdibi corridor at Galdogob opens up the customs point for the truck drivers to bring central/eastern DDSI livestock to PL ports and exported thru Garacad. The Wadaagsin road is still being worked on to ensure regional road connectivity to the Garacad sea port

Majerteen work as maids, shoe shiners, and toilet cleaners in Hargeisa. Majerteen are so poor they import drinking water and meat to eat from SL because you have no industries. You are a poor and backwards people. Garacad isn’t even a real port :drakelaugh:you guys couldn’t even get Bombsaso port off the ground now you believe Garacad, which will be a small “port”, will ever do anything meaningful :pachah1:

Oh delusional zanzijerteens

You expected something here didn't you?!?!?
Possibilities:

1. US/NATO air craft- but this would be unlikely since they'd use drones do scan the region.

2. Foreign companies, who are searching for resource rich regions- they've done the same in Afghanistan, locating surface level lithium.

3. Could be an EU plane, since they signed a €23 million deal with the FGS, they just wanna know the general layout of the region and any potential landing zones for materials that might need to be airlifted straight into SL., since your parliament are very likely to refuse them entrance to carry out a FGS deal.

4. Highly unlikely, but could be the SNAF or a mercenary group hired by the FGS or PL or Turkey or Qatar tasked with reconnaissance the area.
