No one can say for certain that they've had evil eye happen to them. But does happen to beautiful or brainy or rich or just plain lucky people. You can lose the gift that Allah gave you. Having said that prayer can restore it.

1. Read ayatul kursi in the morning and at night, before bed.

2. Read surah an-naas, al-ikhlas and al-falaq as well.

3. Don't boast or brag about your accomplishments (i.e. marriage, new job, getting into your dream grad/professional school)

4. Keep it low key- don't be all over social media (Don't post your pictures either- you don't know who is looking at you and wishing they had your beauty.)

The less people know about you/your life, the better.

It is real. Read your athkar always. I read ayat Kursi after every salah and seek Allah's protection, you don't need to memorize duas in arabic, just do whatever language you speak.
