Each 100 years someone will rectify the Ummah. I am sure its about scholars. Everytime there was a crisis, confusion among the people, it has been scholars who where educating the muslims. Muhammad Ibn Abdul Wahhab was a rectifier. He purged grave worship and Innovation from the arabian peninsula and his books has been read and studied all around the Muslim world even Indonesia and Somalia. I heard it was q majeertan shaykh who studied in Mekkah who introduced the work of Abdul Wahhab among Somalis in the early 20th century maybe 19th century I think. I believe contemporary rectifiers are scholars such as Shaykh Albani. He graded so many ahadith and hadith that were popular and widespread where actually daif. Shaykh Ibn Baz, Shaykh Uthaymeen. I think all the major scholars say the rectifiers of contemporary time are one of these. There are still plently today, major scholars who continue to teach and help rectify millions
