EU style Somali Union project

If Somaliland ever gets recognition we would have three somali states. I'm a die hard Somaliweyn supporter but if we are going to separate we should be friends and work together against common enemies. I guess that hopefully somaliland would stop hating somalia if they get indepence.
The somali countries(Somalia, Somaliland and Djibouti) should form a n EU style union that includes.
- common somali parliament like the european union parliament. Each country should send representatives elected by the people to represent them at the Common Somali parliament which will legislate on issues that affect the somali countries.
-freedom of movement, no visas to travel , open borders for somali union citizens just like the EU does
-no taxes on goods coming from somali countries exactly like the EU
- diplomatic assistance for somalis abroad. Any somali abroad should get help from the embassie of any of the somali countries. For example a German citizen abroad can get assistance from a polish , french or italian embassy if there's no available German embassy.
- fast track citizenship for somalis who settle in another somali country. For example a Somalilander who lives in Xamar should get Somalia's passport faster than any foreign national and viceversa. In the European Union for example immigrants from EU countries usually have an easier path to citizenship and need less time to get their naturalization.
-right to vote, somali countries citizen should be able to vote in administrative elections if they live in another somali country even if they don't have the citizenship. In EU countries a french citizen can vote in a german municipal election and viceversa, this applies only to municipal election and not national election.
- military collaboration to fight terrorism, sharing intel on terrorist activities and crime
- if countries agree we should have a single currency but this is a technical issue that needs to be discussed
- establishing a common education system, all diplomas from somali countries should be automatically recognized by other somali countries
-establishing the Academia for the Somali language to preserve our linguistic heritage
-this project should be expanded by including our brothers in the somali region of ethiopia and NFD, any somali from these occupied territories should be able to get citizenship of any of the three somali countries automatically if they settle there.

Honestly , I will always prefer Somaliweyn.
I'm not gonna lie, I would support this kind of project because it's the closest thing to Somaliweyn right now. But my dream is one Somali nation from jigjiga to mogadishu, to Hargeysa, to Djibouti to Garissa but right now it isn't a realistic option. I recognize that my unionist beliefs are not shared by the majority of Somalilanders and also many puntlanders
There's a growing federalism movement in the EU which says European countries should become one single country like the USA, maybe 50,100,150 years from now IF somalis want to unite again they will be able to uses the Somali Union project to form a united somalia.

Good question.
European Union countries are still separate nations, they have a lot in common but they still have separate foreign policy, separate armies, seperate laws (even though they try to have similar laws) and they still have their borders even though they voluntarily chose to let other EU folks in without any border checks.
This is a compromise between unionism and complete balkanization of Somalia.

Some EU countries are proposing a common EU Army. Somalis should do something similar separate armies but if we need each other we can unite as one army against foreign threats. In all other cases we shall have separate armies in this scenario.
Also we should have a NATO style defence pact, if any of the somali countries is attacked the others have to help. This pact won't apply if a somali country starts a war, it's only for defence

United Somalia worked as long as the people wanted to be united and it failed as soon as the people changed their mind.
As Somaliweyn supporter i wish we had governement that could convince the people to support unionism with strong facts, unfortunately Somalia did the opposite

You do know that there is alot of intermarriage between warsangeli & dhulbahante and the isaaq people?

For instant my family lineage, like my father, his cousin's and their fathers and so on, would not have existed without them.
