6 months under Xarmaajo makes any man lose hope.

Just got to hope our next leader isn’t the dumbest world leader at present again

The man isn’t wrong though, how do you think Rwanda got to where it is today? The Hutus and the Tutsis worked together to get it to how it is today, from a savaged war torn country to one of the best countries in Africa. In order for Somalia to be stronger everyone has to work together and put Somalia first, not their qabiils.

I disagree, the people and country of Somalia has enormous potential, obviously we are without vices but in the grand scheme of things, we made so much progress and we will continue to do so :)

"Corruption, greed and too many local leaders who are only thinking of whats good for them and them staying in power and cant compromise to work toghther for the common good "

Mr marko haikkola spoke nothing but facts, he described the cheese and the somalis to the T .

Due to delayed (s)elections and out of mandate presdent who doesnt want to compromise for the greater good of the nation , somalia will most likely miss the
IMF economic review debt relive program and key international support for many IDPs .

Those CBB are crazier than the average Somali tribalist who at least acknowledges Somalia's condition. What that man said is so obvious.

I can take criticism as long as it's honest. The dude is comparing Somalia to Ukraine.
First of all half of Ukraine wants independence and is enabling the Russian invader, how is that unity when a huge part of your country is cheering for the invading forces? Ukraine is also having lots of support from the west, Somalia has nothing.
The dude thinks a stupid training mission and the failed Amisom mission is what it takes to solve Somalia's issue. The truth is that Somalia was never left alone to figure out it's own solutions.

I think he meant the people. Somali leaders and it’s people are very short sighted and tribalist. The Ukrainians seem to have a common goal whether there is war or not. There more united, it’s just more evident in war.

The war in Ukraine just started. I don't think that they'll end up like somalia obviously cause the west won't let that happen but it's much easier to unite against a commons foreign enemy. Somalis were pretty united in the 1977 war, it's just not right to compare a foreign invasion to a civil war.
Anyway the fact local leaders are incompetent and greedy is true , but the entire Somali political system is a product of the west, we didn't vote to have 4.5 , our own constitution is basically written by them. I'll blame somalis for 70-80% of what's going on but 20-30% is on foreign forces who claim the want to help but didn't do anything. If the EU mission left tomorrow nothing would change in Somalia which is a clear indication that they are useless. If their mission is to help solve Somalia's issues they failed or maybe they don't actually want to get the job done
