Somali Galbeed is flat open lands with no mountains, if the Tigray got destroyed in the defensive highland mountains with 20+ years of stockpiling weapons from their rule of Ethiopia, then Somalis have no chance. Abiy’s drones will be 10x more effective than they were in Tigray.

There is no point bringing death and destruction to the region for an impossible cause. Only Somalis from Somalia have themselves to blame for destroying their country.

Wasn't it Somalia that sacrificed itself to save Galbeed 1977 and it ended with traitors turning against Somalia. Unifying Somaliweyn is not easy when you are surrounded by traitors.

The Tigray were scared of Reer Cabdille (a sub sub sub clan of Ogaden) and they made it clear. I wasn’t surprised much when they couldn’t even defeat Afars. Afars are the closest ethnic group to Somalis. These people are NOT going to openly wage war on Somalia.

That happens when people think that engaging in military resistance is the only way of not accepting 'occupation'

The ironic thing is that there's constitutional given rights of self-determination in Ethiopia. Of course, successive government have refused its citizen the possibility to exercise those rights.

But if they would allow it one day, you'd have to follow the traditional path of registering a political party, securing enough votes to invoke that article, appeal to the federal gov't etc. Even though the intentions may only be to secede from the country, by his definition, it's does not constitute as 'occupation'

That's like saying Palestinians in Israel don't live under occupation because they have chosen 'Israeli rule', even when it's obvious that they have no loyalty to them and seeking all options to break themselves free. Narrow-minded people
