We have mutual enemy which is Ethiopia, that's reason enough for us. We know you're terrified of that prospect deep down you dog. 
The same Ethiopia that invaded us in 2006 to overthrow our ICU government that managed to unite the country based on Islam. The same Ethiopia that that has been interfering in our internal affairs for decades. The same Ethiopia that has been genocide and raping our people and encroaching on our land in Galbeed for decades. You feel for the con that they are our friend. Your comments regarding your mindset towards Ethiopia has always been sus.
so where were the egyptians during the civil war why havent they done anything for Somalis at least the ehtiopians good or bad brought their troops fought alshabaab, and it seems the somali leaders feel more comfratbale in dealing with ethiopia then with other countries, despite the war and all the bad blood between us
They were fighting Al Shabab because they feared they'd enter their borders not because they cared about Somalia. Al Shabab was created as a byproduct of the invasion in 2006. Stop being naive. And we know Egypt isnt a close enough ally of Somalia to help us fight our wars, we just have a common enemy. Ethiopia is our enemy and will always be. Just because they play friendly with SL for personal gain doesnt change that.
its not like that its not that they play friendly with Somaliland alone they have good ties with puntland and with mogadishu as well and jubbaland and if Ethiopia was truely the enemy why dont somalis cut ties with ethiopia HSM welcomed them even after the whole fiasco with the MOU he welcomed them back that means Ethiopia is really needed to keep the Somali security alive dont you think
You need to learn the concept of divide and conquer. Ethiopia is not doing this because they care about us or have our best interest at heart. You are being naive and gullible. They want to keep us divided and fighting each other so we dont come to our senses, come together, and liberate our lands.
Do you know what else was happening when they signed the MOU with SL? The Federal Government was in a reconciliation talks with SL in Djibouti and what did Abiy do 2 days later? Made a deal that would blow up the talks. This is what I mean, Ethiopia is not our friend or ally, they will do anything to keep the status quo in Somalia by preventing us from coming together and forming a united state. Wake up.
if we somalis were really reconciling i dont think Ethiopians could have stopped this they can never stop it , but Somalis can never truely unite or make compramise to make their countyr better besides if Somalia was in the same position as ethiopia is today , do u think Somalia would not behave the same way ethiopia is behaving now or worse even., i think we give foreigners more credit and more power then they actuallly have no one forcd SL to sign deal with Ethiopia no once forced HSM to make deals with Ethiopia but he did
You're not wrong here, all our "leaders" are corrupt and serve foreign interests. But my point is that Ethiopia isnt the "friend" they they've led you to believe. Their intentions towards us has always been nefarious.
True but without Ethiopia Somalia would’ve been taken over by shabaab. Egypt is using Somalia as proxy to antagonize Ethiopia. Both countries don't care about us but Ethiopia has more lose if Shabaab wins.
