Ethiopian ruler AbiyAhmedAli has sent a letter to the United Nations security council to justify an #Ethiopia/n invasion on #Eritrea.

At the same time Ethiopia’s government has been threatening to invade #Eritrea & annex Eritrea’s Redsea coast and it armed Eritrean proxies like RSADO since 2023

Isn’t Eritrea working with Ethiopia to fight the TPLF black Zionists?
Abiy Ahmed forced Eritrea and tplf to make peace.
he launched peace talks and withdrew troops from the border with Eritrea to redeploy Ethiopians troops to Somali Galbeed and the border with Somalia due to the entry of Egyptian forces

Now Eritrea and TPLF at war anymore

Eritrea helped the traitor Abiy Ahmed to defeat tplf but he betrayed Eritrea Fano and Somalia

Eritrean deserves better than Afrwanka.

Ethiopia seems to love antagonizing all of it's neighbours as well as it's different ethnic groups. More than likely it will be balkanized and some of them will merge into Eritrea while the Ogaden returns to Somalia. Some states will stay landlocked with significant economic migration and mutual benefit ties to Horn countries with coastal access.

I wonder how they will justify the dam. Maybe it will be decommissioned in the future rather than risking war with Egypt.

ONLF activists said the same

if Abiy starts a war with Eritrea and tries to invade Eritrea, groups like ONLF and other will security the Somali region and declare independence from Ethiopia 🇪🇹

Abiy Ahmed doesn’t have any support for an invasion on Eritrea 🇪🇷

Eritrea is capable of defending herself

Economic instability and civil war are both terrible. But if he had been able to maintain total control over the country I would have said his plan is working. But the fact is that he's only lost more control over the country and the state and institutional capacity of Ethiopia has declined over the last 5 years. This combined with the Economic crisis since last year that won't be changing anytime soon according to the imf. And now this looks like the situation i imagine Somalia was in during the 80s.

At least during the derg everybody had a common enemy and there wasnt this intense enmenity between every ethnic group like there is now.

The way I see it unless abiy can somehow miraculously change the situation and reverse this economic crisis. The breaking point will eventually be reached.

It's too late for Egypt to attack the dam without consequences happening to Sudan. They should have attacked in 2019 when the reservoir was completely empty. Now it's completely full and the dam is at the Sudanese border so Sudan would be the one getting heavily flooded if Egypt blew up the dam.
