Ethiopia ran to Russia shortly after the news that Russia will help reform the SNA who will replace The Zulu Fufu troops. There's nothing concrete that says ethiopia went there for this reason, but the timing was uncanny.

Sxb, Ethiopia is inherently weak, its going through internal strife but they mask it well. The Ethiopia army, although large, is out-dated with weapons from the Soviet era.
All Somalia has to do is build a small but efficient army of 30'000, backed with the latest equipment and a blue water navy. A navy blockade will decimate their economy.

Good plan is I think 40k army from Somalia, 40k army from somaliland, 40k army from djibouti need to invade Ethiopia from their prospective borders, free the somali regions and put oromo in charge.
Then somaliland can take hawd, ogadenia can join somalia, Djibouti can take the Ciise samaroon regions, win win for all.

That's the beauty of it. Most of Ethiopia's imports and exports are carried out from Port of Djibouti (70%) and Berbera. Exerting pressure on Djibouti and blocking any Ethiopian Cargo ship travelling through Somali waters to Djibouti would bring them to their knees.

Kenyan army lost 210 soldiers in Ceelcade, Gedo, and automatically the KDF moved from Gedo in to Kenya, they regret and said they won't come back ever. That was small clan called Reer garaad.

UAE will run your port plus with industrialization Djibouti do not worry with 500 warehouses around port project you would not need Ethiopia money but they will be need to your factories. The war in Yemen is for the bridge project and Saudi is securing area of bridge. Do not worry Djibouti will not need anymore to Ethiopia.

Djabouti,SL depend on ethiopian Food which is exported to them at the expense of the Locals(yes,there is famine in Ethiopia right know ) so they better have good relations with ethiopia.
