When it comes to GERD DAM, Ethiopia can now claim to have more mouths to feed than Egypt does...

Ethiopia is like the United States of America while Somalia even if it develops will look more like MEXICO with constant moryanimo left and right.

If only we we're a quarter as successful as Mexico.

Ethiopia's population imo is more valuable to us than oil or any other resources we could find in Somalia.

If they improve their GDP to Capita to just $5,000 it turns Ethiopia into an half a trillion dollar economy.

We could end up as a major trading partner and gain more than oil could ever bring us.

I could agree with you but then we’d both be wrong

But Egypt has 5 times the GDP of Ethiopia. The GERD DAM might change their fortunes in the long run but Ethiopia is an economic failure tbh. Somalia is richer than Ethiopia when it comes to the GDP per capita.

You know Ethiopia's GDP per Capita already surpassed 2k, right? Calling one of the fastest growing economies an economic failure is also pathetic.

It would be smart to take advantage of the market segments of Ethiopia.

First we need to weaken them before rebuilding them into an open economy.

Current regime has too much control over the economy. Current import tarrifs are untenable.

A habesha will destroy the kabba near qiyamah to me this is proof that they will always be ahead of us
The time Habesha destroy the Kabba there’d be no real Muslims left on this earth. So Is it really an L if we’re not even here to see it :mjdontkno:

Kenya GDP=99b. Ethiopia's GDP= 92b. Kenya's population is around 50m-55m( Ethiopia's 110m) and Kenya's GDP per capita stands at around $2,010. There is no way in hell Ethiopia's GDP per capita is the same as Kenya. It's mathematically impossible. Ethiopia's per capita is around $800-$900 a year.

Somalia's GDP is approximately 35B. Our economy is much more open, diversified and less regulated. Our telecommunications industry is 10x better than that of Ethiopia. We don't use Cash most of the time, we use electronic transactions. Our GDP is well above 2k tbh.

It is sometimes hard to argue with some Somalis on sspot. Someone makes a false claim about Ethiopian economy and you correct him using a reference based on facts. His emotions goes up :ftw9nwa: and he doubles down and comes up yet again with his own cooked numbers without any reference whatsoever :ftw9nwa: . The next guy talks about Quran and kabba :ftw9nwa:, yet another guy talks about how no one likes Amharas :ftw9nwa:. And you are left confused and wonder wtf is going on? I thought we were just talking about population and economic numbers.
