Cause somali diaspora have a deep connection to their country, most will tell you they wish to move back one day, habesha diaspora dont gaf about ethiopia and have no plans of ever going back, saw an amhara saying that his parents didnt even want him to go back to visit thats how much they lost hope in that country

Lowk might be true because one of my Amharic friends straight up did not know he was Amharic before 2022 when his parents started listening to Amhara v Tigray fkd at home, and actually turned to me for basic things about Ethiopian history until he was confident to dig in to it himself...
