Ethiopia dams

Can someone explain to me why many somalis support ethiopia regarding the dam dispute its mind boggling to me really, knowing the history of bad blood between the two, is it lack of patriotism
low iq/ignorance a combination of both?

Because there is a thing called reality. Egypt can not stop the GERD dam. If it could, it would've done so by now.

Regarding the Habashi dams on Jubba river, our best hope is negotiations. Even disintegration of Ethiopia might be a temporary cap since whoever cames next would likely try to dam the river anyway.

I support Ethiopia cause I believe in sovereignty. The Nile dam has nothing to do with Somalia or the Jubba and Somalis need to stop conflating the two. The world does not revolve around Somalis it’s embarrassing how you always assert yourselves in other people’s affairs as if your opinion matters.

Before raising our skinny arms in support of Egypt, I really want @Jakob96 to show us what Egypt itself has done in regards to the dam except for yapping ever since the dam construction started and till now when the dam is already being filled. Egypt has stronger army than Habashis and population comparable to Ethiopia's.

Ethiopia pulled the rug from under Egypt, they called every bluff now it's not taken serious. In the end I don't think there's anything Egypt could do. Uganda can be next to build a dam.

This will be embarrassing for El Sisi when Egyptian agriculture starts limping due to irrigation water shortages. Riots can easily break out since most of their population is rural.

Ethiopia can not dam a river which could affect the flow of water to downstream countries without consulting those it affects according to the African Convention on the Protection of Nature and Natural Resources a continental wide agreement signed in 1968 in algeria,

you support Ethiopia’s sovereignty when they literally interfere in our internal affairs. Dheeg raadso nacaasyaho. Everything in Ethiopia has to do with somalia, every opportunity we get to make Ethiopia crumble is within our interest. I hope you choke on Ethiopian dick.
