Ethiopia’s Somali Region to Receive 50% of Oil Revenues

do you know how big the gap is already even djbouti is rearing up to be a middle income country very soon.
Lower middle income and low income arent that far appart, trust me Djibouti is nowhere near somewhere you want to be born

Statistically you had a 9/10 chance of being born in slums back then and now you have a 65% chance

their gdp per capita is around 4k although with djbouti its weird since they exist as effectively a gas station and that wealth isnt spread out but it is what it is, like we're in a predicament to where if we arent out this hole with kebab and the fractured state we're legit finished the world is moving in a very different direction now and we're too visible our enemies and even randoms know it, palestine (gaza) will get help from the world to rebuild it, syria will rebuild now, iraq, us and sudan are cooked unless something gives or in my case SL gets free and has access to intl markets or help.

50 percent is not to bad Remember the deal somalia signed with turkey 90 percent for turkey 19 percent t for somalia. If you look at it from that sort of perspective it is a good deal

50-50 is worse than 70-30

They dont get anything until recovery which would take decades, and the 50% they get is at best $1M a year

This is a trash deal, probably the worst hydrocarbon deal in the history of the HOA, Abiy is just giving cheap Ogaden gas to Ethiopia they're not even going to export it
