Eritrean jabarti origin?

I first heard if this a couple years ago on the forum but there was no real info and everything sounded like speculation. But now with all the recent threads about how important somalis were in the history of islam and the horn of africa. The idea that name jabarti in eritrea is random and has nothing to do with Somaliis seems ludicrous. Are they descendants of somali settlers or was it possibly somali scholars who came there and they just adopted the name? Any info/theories is welcome @Emir of Zayla @Shimbiris @daljirkadahsoon

I think they are semitic with J haplogroup if I am not mistaken. Tag the DNA experts.

Jabarti is just another name for Muslims in the Horn, but could also have some tribal affiliations.
