The RSF is training FANO [Amhara rebel group] as we speak. Fact is that these alliance are fluid and are formed on mutual interest.
The UAE is active in Sudan because through the RSF they have access to the gold of Sudan. RSF get guns and trainings, the surplus of which they resell to Amhara combined with training.
Sometimes Somalis suffer from 'main character' syndrome. Outside of our immediate neighbours we are considered a non-crucial factor.

Wallahi brother some of these man. According to them UAE is funding Al-Shabab, FGS, SL, Ethiopia and Puntland.

Was the Twitter report written by Somalis? Why shouldn’t Somalis comment on regional issues pertaining to them and how is that “main character syndrome”?
Al-Shabaab is not being funded, they have an incredible tax collecting arm, something which people neglect to mention. That is how they fund themselves primarely.
When it comes to foreign funding it has varied and but seems to have stopped from most sources. Only Iran seems to still donate and sell weapons to Al-shabaab.

Which geopolitically makes complete sense. UAE / Saudi and Qatar have found footholds in political factions within Somalia and that has become a way better avenue to project power than through Al - Shabaab.
Saudis played hardball and forced, HSM during his first term, to close the Iranian embassy. This was during the Qatar - Saudi fights.
Since then Iran has trickled down weaponry to Al - Shabaab.
I'm talking about the title of the thread. It suggest an axis of countries colluding against Somalia in an organized fashion.

The UAE is the only foreign state that supports Puntland with development and military aid. Obviously they have their interests as no country is altruistic. That said, let's not pretend we have the same allies and enemies. Q atar was allegedly behind the attack on Bosaso and is harbouring a terrorist called "Sheikh Attam" who operated in Galgala. Q atar also funded Fahad Yasin / Farmajo and all Hawiye political groups.
Qatar + Turkey funds South Somalia minus Jubbaland.
UAE has chosen to invest in Puntland, Jubbaland and SNM triangle.
If we had a sane and mature FGS that does not attack and stifle FMS that are non- HAG, we would not have multiple foreign nations with competing interests!! But you can't block funding for FMS, and then act shocked when FMS allow foreign powers to provide much needed support.

Most likely logistical infrastructure to facilitate shipments to and from the RSF. The RSF has been gaining and winning while not enjoying the support of the western sudanese arabs. This alone shows just how much support the UAE is giving towards the RSF.
That would make us a participant in the civil war in Sudan. I don't like it.
Btw I think the pictures of the airport in the OP doesn't tell us anything. That looks like it's the new hangar that was build there and nothing more. The frequent flights is more of a concern, unless they're shipping arms to the SNA.
