Checked my raw files @giire12 I'm also a carrier for the risk allele CT but I didn't score any Asian.

I think we stumbled into something BIG here . Not only do somalis have a warfarin resistent allele but somehow 2 people who do not know each other in real life spontaneously gets a copy of an extremely rare allele found in Southeast/East Asian populations

I'm perplexed how I even inherited this. I went ahead and rechecked my computed data file which shows things 23andme leaves out before giving you your finalized result and to my surprise I do have signs of Asian ancestry at 0.04%. However they're on chr19 not 6

For you, icl man its 99% likely for you to have inherited it from your asian side that CANNOT be a coincidence. Especially 2 copies instead of one and on chromosome 6. We have proven your trace result to actually be true. You gonna be watching shahrukh khan instead of hollywood from today

Yes but if it's rare for non Asians then for us it's obviously foreign. In my case It's a much more historical Asian ancestor.

Most likely 23andMe don't present ancient ancestry, it only presents recent autosomal, for example the Arab salax with 100% Somali ancestry but have haplogroup J.

What's too little to detect in me might not be true for someone else in my family. I'll just have to test them and find out in time

I agree as well, some might have not inherited it at all, genetics inheritance is by chance (probability, likelihood and etc). There is a chance you inherited it while your siblings are negative.
