Somalia might be a "failed" state but there are is so much potentional in the resources we have in our country. What reason did the us have to stay in Syria even after IS? because of the resources and raw potential. Lets just say hypothetically this organization remains a free trade agreement. Somalia still shouldn't join because how can we compete with middle income economies under a free trade agreement? They're way more competitive economically. This will just lead to all our best talent immigrating to these countries for better salaries and job opportunities, leaving Somalia even more uncompetitive.
