You aren’t.Why are we joining a federation of Gaal and bantu states whom have been putting us down for so many years.
Wdym "you aren't"? Elaborate and Clarify your stance instead of using two words. You aren’t.
The EAC is not the EAF. The EAC is just the East African equivalent of the G7 or whatever. And I can guarantee that Somalia’s application to join will be rejectedWdym "you aren't"? Elaborate and Clarify your stance instead of using two words.
There is your answer. The EAC is a potential precursor to the establishment of the East African Federation, a proposed federation of its members into a single sovereign state.[6] In 2010, the EAC launched its own common market for goods, labour, and capital within the region, with the goal of creating a common currency and eventually a full political federation.[7] In 2013, a protocol was signed outlining their plans for launching a monetary union within 10 years.[8] In September 2018 a committee was formed to begin the process of drafting a regional constitution.[9]
They aren't going to deny it because they will use the instability and EA standby force to keep Somalia down whilst they loot resources and the ocean. Eventually when they have sacked the country and stole everything they will sack us for not being able to handle our problems and etc etc. Somalia has no friends just temporary allies. We can't rely on anyone else unless it is mutually beneficial to both parties.

LOL if you think the EAF will materialise. And they have no use for Somalia in its current state. They have their coastline in Kenya. Without a fully functional govt. and AS running parts of the country, the EAC wouldn’t touch it with a ten foot barge pole. At least the DRC is extracting its resources. Somalia is still trying to determine if it has oilThere is your answer.
What uproar would happen? With all due respect you'd think all this time the Somali people would collectedly reject foreign interference but for the last 30 years we have sat in khat houses, cafes and phone calls cursing our leaders but do we do jack shit. Nope. This is what is wrong with us. Somali people will not even hold simple protests. We are too busy shooting at other qabils and importing khat to do this. The EAC countries will not become a federation this century and probably never. Nothing has been said EA standby forces being in Somalia, that will not happen, the uproar would be huge.
If it doesn't materialize on paper that is their problem. Do you think they during the "verfication" stage of our admission they won't find a reason to deploy? They are simply waiting for ATMIS mandate to end and then they deploy mark my words. It will happen.LOL if you think the EAF will materialise. And they have no use for Somalia in its current state. You are delusional. WHAT REASON DO THEY HAVE TO “DEPLOY” INTO A FAILED STATE. Any resources worth even looking at are all currently being investigated in SL.If it doesn't materialize on paper that is their problem. Somalia might be a "failed" state but there are is so much potentional in the resources we have in our country. What reason did the us have to stay in Syria even after IS? because of the resources and raw potential. Iska Dhaff if you don't understand, I'm getting tired of writing to an Eritrean who can't understand jack shit. You are delusional. WHAT REASON DO THEY HAVE TO “DEPLOY” INTO A FAILED STATE. I just hope if we were to enter we will have growth and polices for our self interests. All I want is a customs union; access to the sea is essential for any Nation and there are a number of landlocked States in East Africa that will keep pushing for access
Economic union or a trade union is alright and makes complete sense as everyone benefits. But what do you think about their idea for a shared currency and federation? All I want is a customs union; access to the sea is essential for any Nation and there are a number of landlocked States in East Africa that will keep pushing for access

A simple trading union and working together with our neighbors is alright. The problem is, the eventual progression into a federation. But it’s doubtful that’ll happen anytime soon.Somalia is NOT joining that foolish club or whatever it is
