Duplex properties in Somalia

Why cant't Somali construction companies back home design and build these sort of luxury or standard mansion type duplex properties you see in some african countries

I always though duplex houses were enjoined houses with seperate enterances but a shared roof.

TBH there are plenty of houses like that built all over Somalia.

Those McMansions look quite strange being so large on a small block of land with no greenery.

They are usually so close to the walls that the first story windows become pointless

Much prefer this style on a bit more land it's looks good, my parents built one back home and it has a very large garden that we grow fruits on, its shade attract lots of cats and keeps rodents and other pests away.

I live in Mogadishu, and have gone to many places in it. So I can say: Nah, that's just the few bright sides, Mogadishu in general is disgusting as hell, and wallahi I mean it. You can't just take some random pics from Hodan or Bendair district as a sample.

But I do agree with the white part, especially any building before 2020, that's why I said "current". But everything else were built after that, probably is trash.
