This is inexcusable for elementary school teachers but we give a pass for this behaviour when it comes to the religion. It should be associated with love and comfort not abuse and punishment.

You shouldn’t be surprised if those kids end up becoming gaalo when they get older. What kind of people think they will earn ajr by beating kids??? The most shocking part is that parents support the macalins. They are filling those kids with fear and hate, not love for the deen.

My mom grew up in xamar and after civil war she went to different african countries. She said tht somalis abuse the kids more then the countries shes seen. They dont seem to think anythings wrong with it even though a kid can learn without getting hit.
