Northern Ethiopian highlands used to be dominated by the Agew people until the migration of ancient Sabaeans which mixed with the local population and it seems the Sabaean culture and linguistic influence was more powerful. The Ethio-Semitic language originated from southern Arabia, no one can dispute that.

@Factz, I ain't expert on this field but modern DNA research seem to support the view of @tesfey67n We have nothing to do with Arabs. Modern DNA research confirms that our non-African DNA is closer to Levant (Egyptian, Israeli or Syrian) than southern Arabia.

I don't understand. You are saying that you're African but also descendants from Sheba who is Yemeni. If Ethiopians are descendants of Solomon and Sheba that means both sides of their ancestry are not from Africa.

umm.. actually no.. you didn't prove anything. the only non-African genetic Ethiopians have is small % of j1, and j1 doesn't =semitic by origins. j1 has origins in Anatolia, not Yemen.
if you are gonna use j1 as a Semitic dna than you have to also call the omatics "Semitic" and some Somalis "Semitic".

The people of damot, Axum, and Abyssinia were all called semberites(meaning strangers)by scholars

SEBA= lion in Arabic. SEBA= one of the son's of cush. 1 thing that differentiates the Semites and the Sabaeans is, southern Yemen was ruled by queens not kings. Letting women rule was a Cushitic culture not Semitic. Also, the language spoken in ancient antiquity Yemen was ge'ez, and not Arabic. arabic is from Nabatean, not ge'ez, so everything you proclaim is very, very questionable.
