That's very very old, the admixture event of what makes us somalis is 8,000-10,000 years old. Before Islam we practiced waaqism which believed in a one God. That's why it was easy for us to convert to Islam

In all seriousness tho, our people have been Muslim for approx 1200 years. Prior to that only Allah knows best, simple Dua can differentiate the two peoples.
