Thailand is a Third world country, They have a strong military government that runs the country, anybody who Criticized the ruling Junta has a bad habit of ending their days on a River with a gunshot to their head, the cops are corrupt together with the entire system including fake court . But the Thai middle class is living a relative decent life in their high rise apartments in Bangkong. With access to modern supermarkets, Universities, Shopping malls, Metro, very low crime rates.
Thailand has a very advanced export Industry that is worth 287 billion dollar with electronics, machinery, Cars.
That is what you call a third world country, Somalia is on another level.
