My political views are

1. Loose 'federalism' and more state rights. Kaah kama hadlin qodobkani
2. The role of Isimo ama Monarchy kama hadlin.
3. Their economic policy in 'suuqa' puntland ma wuxu raba middle class inu dhasho ama 1% capitalist
4. Security policy and strong ciidaan kama hadlin iyo sida arimaha 'dhulka maqan ee las anod' iyo kama hadlin 'terrorism' wuxu siyasadooda ka tahay
5. Kama hadlin their infrastructure policy around schools-hospitals-roads-electricity-water matters iyo public service 'toona'
6. Kama hadlin their policy around 'human capital development index' iyo sida loo guuri laha shacab dhisan ee 'localka' ah

What he did talk at 6:03 mark is this party is 'shariah' based marka hisbigasi ma aminsano 'xoriyada insaan' ayaa ka xorayso shariah. So it's another 'center right' nonsensical party when a big chunk of puntites in generation y are center left like me and ilhan omar and countless. I am sick of these 'siyad barre generation' still not able to get over 'colonization and syl iyo western values means gaalnimo'. Religion waa 'choice' ee ma aha 'saldhig' ama 'law' I wish abdiqawi returns and teaches them that religion isn't legal system, it's a choice and to have a choice the law has to be freedom based.

He also did touch on some 'social policies' at 6:40 mark regarding the status of 'idps and non puntites' he said any Somali that has lived in PL for 5 years is a 'puntite citizen' and can participate in Puntland elections, this will not win many points with the hardened 'anti southy group' in the diaspora.

See I don't care who runs 'kaah' apparently their going to 'endorse' 'deni presidential ticket' as he is the 'governor' of the party, you see isku siyasad manahin, i hope puntland creates a 'center left' party with freedom-human rights being the law and religion being relegated as private matter and choice not a law.

I also wud like to see a center left party have an economic model that creates a middle class in puntland in the next 50 years and ensure our GDP engine is the 'locals and middle' base not the top 1%.. Maybe PL isn't yet fully in 'development' stage party politics but you going to have to start sooner or later to address these core policy areas

1. Federalism and what side of it you follow loose or centered
2. The role of religion and historical institutions like Isimo vs secular and freedom grounded in human rights.
3. The economic model you follow it's either capitalist or socialist or 'mixed' model and sector development goals.
4. Your social policy around local puntites vs non local puntites and even non somali refugees and their status in puntland as they are in limbo area.
5. Security policy internal and external
6. Climate change as PL is badly effected by it
7. Infrastructure development
8. HDI goals of human development
9. Health-School literacy and skills transfer path-ways into industry/professional/technical sectors.

This is a 'bare minimum' policy area that each party has to address in your party manifesto or else ma aha 'siyasad' ee waa 'qabiil' politics. Puntites are the same tribe but we are not all of the same political persuasion on many topics. Me and @Karim still are not fully in line on islam role as a personal choice not a state mattervs the role of freedom for all and human rights.

So am I, but I'll support Kaah if Deni's admin implements local elections.

What happened to the Secular party, i would support that one. It's good that Puntland will allow as many parties as the region needs, Somaliland system just leads to corruption.

What is the current system are all decisions currently made in garowe?

I think Puntland has the most vibrant civil society in all of Somaliweyn. Puntland politics is cutthroat. There was a Somalilander politician, Mustafa Martin, that went to Garowe for support and he was amazed how vicious our politics are. As Abdullahi Yusuf once said puntland doesn't need wadaad faro jilicsan.

To answer your question, no, Puntland has more stakeholders than just the incumbent administration.

Actually PL is also looking I believe to ultimately have only 3 parties as the maximum limit.

That is a good culture to have to avoid stagnation the status quo is accepted far too often but I was wondering how much power cities like bosaso have over themselves. How centralized is the puntland administration?

All the cities have their own local councils. The mayors can only be confirmed by the city council. The 1man1vote are for local councils, not PL parliament or president. This will ensure PL is very decentralised

Decentralization should be the goal of everyone hopefully everyone realizes that soon.

Don't get me started on the 'secular' hour, The system in PL should be grounded in 'freedom' because

1. Adam was free and this is the first gift of god not religion.
2. When the law is grounded in freedom people then have free choice to either follow or reject religion.
3. You can't have religion as the law or else ma jiro 'free will' which as I said is the first gift of god to adam was to be 'free'. We must protect the ability for people to believe or not believe in islam as their all taxpayers.

If u believe in Islam and u made a free choice to believe it, hadee orodo aad masajidka aday ku qusaysa as it's your private matter, it shouldnt concern the public or government..

That is proper islam, in aad adigu isku dhaqtid islam ee haku dhaqin dad an rabin islam while respecting their free choice not to follow islam. So only 'freedom' based legal system is workable for all be it believers or disbelievers.

I want Puntland not to be just 'democratic' as Iran is democratic also and has elections but be apart of the 'free world' led by america and the west, where u protect and hold onto 'freedom' as your legal system. Wax ka wayn 'xoriyatul insaan' or freedom grounded in a human rights legal framework ma.jiro. I wish Puntland did thaat, societies who don't protect freedom usually don't last long.
