understand wajir has not got much economic opportunities, jobs, development and education so i too would not stay in wajir and its super hot
but we have the numbers, and if i was madoobe i would make wajir the entry point fro goods coming in from doobley and ask kenya for a free trade
i would even add wajir to my calcualtion and also Garissa and even Lamu since its ours to the development plan of jubbaland when developing jubbaland so the kid in wajir can drive from there and study in kismayo afmadow, etc and work

OG neglected Wajir so Degodi took over. We are only left in one neighbourhood of what used to be an OG city. They left for Garissa, Nairobi and the West. Whereas Degodi all invest in Wajir whether they live elsewhere or not. They have also been on a baby making spree since the great OG-Degodi war of the 80s and 90s. That's why today they control most of the city. That being said, OG contested for the governorship and would have won if they were united. Unfortunately, some OG backstabbed the community and signed a deal with Degodi to become their running mates and DP. After that betrayal, it will take a lot of work to bring back OG unity in Wajir.
Wajir is a strategic city and an important well. But OG have focussed on securing the more important Wasow/Lag dheera basin which is exclusively OG on both sides till it reaches the Jubba. Not many know this, but it is a fertile plain that floods during the wet season (the famous Lorian swamp from the colonial books). It is also an underground aquifer that can sustain massive agriculture if utilised properly. The rest of Wajir is either thirsty or has salty water. The Degodi tried to get a world bank project to pipe this water from Habaswein to Wajir city a few years ago. OG said F off and keep your money.

in the future we can build direct roads from NFD to jubbaland, trade with them, make NFD connected to Jubaland economically and socially
British were build trains in Africa in the 1800s and Germany was building trains in the 1800s we can do this for mass export of goods from NFD to Kismayo port and beyond
we could even build factories in NFD and send it to export from kismayo port
NFD gets income, Kenya gets export market and jubbaland will have a completely zero tariff to improt and export from jubbaland to the wider world
i would even go as far as dreaming one day we will have direct train connections from jubbaland to NFD so our people in NFD can benefit from fast direct links with their cousins AND EVEN EXPORT MASS GOODS PRODUCD IN NFD THROUGH KISMAYO PORT

there is politics at play , Kenya wants Lamu port to serve ethiopia and south Sudan, but we can do that with Jubaland ports and we have more rights since we own 35% of Ethiopia in the form of DDS and 10 million people and have more connections with ethiopia
there are many reason why people flee wajir, weather, lack of economic opportunities etc, we can fix these issues, if only we get a OG jubbaland president who has vision and thinks of all the 3 nations his people own across the horn

also i would personally order the arrest of any candidate that refuses to follow orders and if necessary, do a JFK on him for the interest of our race is far more important than one man

The key to NFD is Kismayo. Before the civil war when the roads were open, NFD was booming, especially border towns like Liboi. Since the war, the region has suffered along with Jubbaland. The only difference was it had peace. Since Jubbaland was liberated and trade slowly restarted, the NFD is coming back to life again and border towns are booming once again. Just look at Dhoobley. Goods from Kismayo are still smuggled in, even if illegally. Most of the sugar comes from there. As for Wajiir, then Mz, Mq, and Bah Geri need to come with a compromise and a plan. The problem is, these subs real power lies in Jubbaland, not Kenya. Once the home (Jubbaland) is fixed, they can think about Wajir.
There already is a plan to resettle OG from Dadaab to Wajir and give them IDs. Once the current dameer MP is replaced by Mohamed Adow (the famous Al jazeera journalist), they will be resettled and Wajir South will become 3 consituencies with each subclan getting an MP. Once they stop fighting they can then work on getting Wajir city back.

In the near future, Kismayo will be where OG politics will be decided in Greater Waamo once again. The problem however is reer Waamo by nature are too soft and miskeen. Whereas galti have the right attitude but are clueless to local dynamics and mess things up. Just look at the donkey Abdi Ali Rage who brought the Doollo subclannism to Waamo and divided Maqabul without doing anything for them.

i heard uncles Affey, mabhoob IGAD boss, Yusuf Hassan, uncle Yusuf haji, madoobe all tried to bring them to kismayo but a lot refused, only 10,000 allowed because they are waiting for American green cards
if i was Jubaland president i would force them, but how can i do that? how can i forcefully move 2 million potential people to kismayo by force?its really hard

1) a house in jubaland for free - state will build it
