At the end of the day, it is a construct that is intangible. However, as humans we have given it its value or devalue.

There are people that consider virginity as something important to them and that is within their prerogative, as said people value their virginity and would therefore value others.

There are people that see it is an imaginary concept, similar to a car virginity and treat it as such. These people probably have healthy sexual lives and do not judge people with similar sexual histories.

However, what is horrible and toxic is those that do not value their own virginity that have placed a value on others. This is a mentality amongst some men in our community, in that they want a virgin as a partner despite not being virgins themselves. If one cannot value their own virginity then it is hypocritical to place a value on someone else's.
