I used to do this many moons ago, but I no longer subject myself to what essentially amounts to mental torture; I'm convinced that I was audibly grinding my teeth in my self-destructive reflections.
It's best to contextualise any embarrassing thing you did as a child or as a young person and laugh about it; we all have incredibly mortifying moments in our lives, so it's terribly unhealthy to agonise over something you can't possibly change now.
Don't ruminate over it, unless you want to depress yourself.
