Seems like they’re bombing clans that don’t have a huge diaspora that will make noise. When they bombed Habar Gidir there was huge backlash.

Why are they targeting specific clans?

They’re not targeting specific clans per say but they’re avoiding the clans that will cause them a headache. Drone strikes are no different to suicide bombs they both have a lot of civilian casualties. I’d only support them when the army is advancing on al shabaab and they’re in a battle as air cover. Kenya seems to have a selective bombing campaign on marexaan at the moment.
