I beat up a white guy who called me and stole his afterwards.
I also get offended by people calling me neger. I never let it slide. One black guy called me it and I said don't called me that shit and me and my Arab friend told the black guy it means slave.
If someone called me a dirty sand Arab, would I be offended? Hell yeah, because they are trying to insult me. Doesn't matter if I'm Arab or not. Likewise, if someone insults me by calling me a , I would be offended.
But, if you mean the word itself... then no. I don't really care if you use it.
Aussie racists normally they won't call you but will call you coon, chimp or monkey. Since their agenda is to act violently like an animal, I call them Ms Coon or Ma monkey & add, don't be jealous of Ms Coon or Ms Chimp, it was only a one night stand. Then they become angrier and homophobic.I leave them there screaming.
It depends on context. It is offensive if someone uses it to insult you because they're calling you inferior and a slave due to your colour/background. By being offended, you're not validating their insult; just as you'd be offended if someone insulted your mother even if the insult is pure slander. It's the disrespect and gall that gets to you.
yall are really stupiddhhhh if u thunk being called the N workd is about slave history lol. The word may have it's roots from there but nowdays if someone uses it it's to belittle you because of your blackness yall better be throwing hands balaayo in dishe
If it's said towards me as an insult then hell yea I would be pissed. If someone calls you a (esp. an cadaan) it is meant to insult you and deem you inferior based on your looks/background and if you wouldn't get offended by that you really are deluded. Being offended doesn't mean that you are calling yourself or your ancestors slaves, the n word in a derogatory context is used to disrespect anyone who is black/African.
As a proud member of the niggerdom..I say this with my chest the word has never bothered me. my fellow negros i urge you to join the niggerdom, you shan't regret it.
