Scandi somalis definitely keep up with each other, they cluster with each other. They practically speak the same language and the countries have the same culture. Same as Anglo Saxon diasporas, who have cultural similarities.
Its kinda hard for diasporans who speak a language thats not spoken outside their host country to keep up with outsiders. For example, Im from Finland and we do keep up with scandinavians, especially Sweden as its our neighbour but not with others.
I think its the same with other diasporas like Holland and Germany. They keep up with each other and the Uk
Us in Finland keep up with Uk because nearly everyone has cousins there.
