My mate is an open Somali homosexual and is one of the nicest person you could ever meet. She recently confessed the main reason why she became a practicing and proud homosexual. She was molested in a care home and hasn't healed from the entire experience. Why should she be judged when it isn't her own making?

I'm gonna need clarification. Was she female who was molested by male and decided she wanted nothng of males and became lesbian? or was she female who was molested by female and realized she's into that kinda stuff ?

Pedophiles are not only molesting a child, they are also molesting the whole society. It's us who would live with the results.

Lesbian/Gays are mentally ill people. They need help, but what if they are adamant about their ways. Stoning someone is difficult, but I hope they go to Jannah after death.

Yes also could make them a pedophile, not her fault which is why she needs physiological help, but this society doesn’t give them that but instead allow them to roam free molesting other children and continuing the cycle.

I love it how straight people act like they know more about gay people and psychologist.

Sexuality is still an understudied field, try not to generalise gays just because certain ones were molested when they were younger.

So to answer your question more research is needed.

True, you are not wrong here.

I believe homosexuals are people that were created in such way by God. People that were born in bodies which were not right. Being attracted to the same gender is a difficult test. A test most people can't sympathize with. Lust, is a strong emotion. An emotion that can destroy worlds or build them. Its an emotion that can put you in jail for rape. Lust causes zina and many more sins.

Being told to not let your lust come out of the closet in a western country is not easy. Most people would just let it out. It's easier in the western world.

Homosexuality is wrong, not because I said so. God knows what is best for us. You won't find peace in being homosexual.

That's a using modern liberal thought and making Islam conform to it.

None of the people who came before us saw it as natural.

I never said it was natural, God is testing them with lust that can never be obtained. It's unnatural and I am not making Islam conform to it. Islam from prophet mohammed has not changed for 1400 years, it does not care about people feelings. Islam is there to show you the right path, even if it goes against your emotions.

I am just saying, that God gave some people tests that are unorthodox from human perspective. As a society it's a test to us too. We are the ones, who can help this people. Or let them be and destroy our society simultaneously.

1. Help them in the right path. Something Allah likes
2. Become Like the western world and help them in the wrong path. ie homosexuality.

There was a dude that had on a hidden camera that went to a gay bar/club. He asked all the dudes about their childhood, and 95% of them said they were molested by a family member or someone with authority.

It’s anecdotal but I think most gays have been sexually abused as children.

Your mate may have been molested but she know homosexuality is a sin if she is a Muslim. I know countless of women and men molested by same sex who went ahead and a had a full house heterosexual experience, even though some of them, were bisexual on the side.

Promiscuity is linked with having a history of trauma but no study to date has made a direct causal link between homosexuality (which is a pschosexual behaviour) with trauma. However, gay, bisexual men and women are more likely than straight men and women to have a history of childhood abuse. There was one study on the link to childhood maltreatment and same sex sexuality in adulthood. It cannot be determined if same sex orientation contributed to maltreatment or if it influenced sexual orientation. Furthermore, its still inconclusive.

I'm a straight female with no history of adverse childhood life experiences. I cannot impose my views on to people with a different frame of reference. However, there are plenty of people who have a history of childhood mistreatment (neglect or abuse) who do not end up gay. I think there are various factors that contribute to same sexual orientation. And its difficult to study this group without a certain degree of bias. And even if its true that maltreatment is causal it would be considered politically incorrect. Science and eugenics has also mistreated this sexual minority group.

I also have a theory that in subsistence communities (especially in isolated African communities) or in the premodern era that rates of homosexuality were close to none existent. Its endemic of societies with too much time on their hands. And if we use the Greeks as an example despite their practice of bisexual behaviour they still believed exclusive homosexual behaviour was deviant. Deviance is spatially and temporally specific.

Yes and no.

Trauma affects each person differently. I’m certain there are homosexuals who have never been assaulted so that theory can not explain everything.

But there is solid evidence that ones first sexual experience predicts your future sexual proclivities.

I feel like you're lying. No homosexual would say "the reason I'm gay is because I was molested", they would never say that. They would say they've always been like that.
